Our History

     Greensburg United Methodist Church has its roots in the Virginia Conference of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, and traces its origins to the sons of Bishop Christian Newcomer, the second bishop of the denomination. It has provided a profound ministry to the people of the Greensburg area with focus on community outreach, education and worship.
