Our History

The Friendship UMC is has a small but close and loving congregation. We meet each Sunday at 9:15 A.M. In the social hall is a banner dated 1863 from the Ladies Aid presented to the congregation. The church was begun during or before 1863. The building was begun in September 1867. The congregation participates quarterly in feeding the homeless and donates to various charities with the Berkeley Place UMC on a monthly basis.
